Academic History

My academic history is interrelated with my visual art, curating and role lecturing in curating contemporary art. Many of my research projects have stemmed from the development of practice based research projects, which have accumulated in assessing how an artistic or curated project works out in the public sphere. Most recently my research interests are focused on the role participating in the arts can play in contributing towards the inclusive city, particularly in the climate of increasingly intercultural global cities.

Current Academic Position

I am currently employed as a Senior Lecturer of Arts Management specialising in curatorial subjects, International and Art History, Theory & Cultures Co-ordinator. I am also currently the International Co-ordinator, a Contemporary Art and Social Transformation (CAST) committee member, research stream leader of CAST's Migration + Mobility + Art and on the Diversity and Inclusion Working Party, RMIT School of Art. I have also taught the subjects Arts Management, Art History, Art and Global Cities, Internship (RMIT University) and Arts and Cultural Management in Asia (UoM).
