Meridians: Shanghai 2010 was a art in public space collaboration between RMIT University, Melbourne, Art in Public Space researchers and ECNU School of Art, Shanghai researchers. The collaboration accumulated into a five week residency at ECNU with the Australian team to develop an exhibition in the School of Art Gallery. The exhibition was opened by the Victorian Minister for Trade Jacinta Allen, as a satellite project of the Australian Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo.
